Recently we have received reports of scam robocalls "spoofing" the City Hall phone number.
If a call claiming to be from City Hall demands immediate payment, personal information, or threatens arrest, it is a scam. Hang up immediately.
Scammers use "spoofing" to make legitimate city numbers appear on your caller ID. Verify by hanging up and calling the official city number (314-355-0400) directly.
Black Jack City Hall will never call and demand payment for a bill over the phone.
